When I went in to get the version info for Chrome, it was updating. I am now running Version 24.0.1312.56 m. I have been using Chrome exclusively when doing the HOLs.
Typos:
Step 5:
"..In this lab we will attempt to highlight it strenghts around the automation of manual tasks." (should be "it's") (misspelled - "strengths")
"..it can be the "master remote" manageing tasks between vSphere and other systems." (misspelled - "managing")
Step 17:
"..It has a completley new layout" (misspelled - "completely")
Step 35:
"..Click the green '+" size" (should be "sign" right? and the quotes around the plus sign are mismatched)
Step 45:
".. In this lab we will add a wrokflow" (misspelled - "workflow")
Step 46:
"..If you are not already in thome "Home Screen" (perhaps this should be "in the Home Screen"?)
Step 65:
"..Free SOAP testing tool called SOAPUI, This will allows us to interact" (perhaps "SOAPUI, which will allows us.." works better here)
"..This tool will allows" (perhaps ".. will allow us" ?)
"..to show how outside systems, might" (the comma is unnecessary if I read this correctly)
Setp 74:
"..This simple example ilustrates" (misspelled - "illustrates")
"..but vCO is full featured and rich workflow execution engine" (should be "but vCO is a full featured and rich workflow execution engine" ?)
"..vCO plugins like the vCenter plugin include pre-built workflows to help" (the text ends mid-sentence here?)
Step 77:
"..YOUR THIRD PART SYSTEMS." (should be PARTY?)
Step 99:
"..Locate the favorite 0n internet explorer browser tool bar." (on the Internet Explorer ?)
Random thoughts:
Obviously, having to use the workaround to get Orchestrator service started - would be nice if this was fixed.
Step 33 is just a screenshot and no text? Then Step 34 goes back to the Arguments dialog. I could follow, but it is pretty confusing.
Step 39 mentions looking at the console of the XP VM, but I could not get the console to launch without accidentally launching the console twice. It just takes a while, at least for me. It eventually does launch and works.
I get to Step 53 and the manual just shows "loading" with an animation at the top. I can click next and go on to Step 54. This doesn't seem to be a missing step or anything as far as I can see.
Step 89: when I open the dialog to browse to the AD plugin, the explorer window doesn't default to the Desktop where the plugin is. Might include some directions to say that the plugin is on the Desktop.
I ran out of time waiting for the Orchestrator server to restart after configuring the AD plugin. This was on Step 99, which is further than I have gotten so far!
I couldn't reproduce the screen shot enlarging problem, perhaps the update to Chrome helped.
Thanks for your time. I should state that I am NOT an English major; hell, I am in fact a Southerner, so take my typo advice with the appropriate salt.
