If this is my best option, can you give me some guidance. I've never worked with VMware and have no idea how to do this.
There is no option to shrink the disk back to 600 GB.

This seems a viable option. How do I do this? But then how much of an issue would it be that the datastore is full.
Right now, It's a production server and need to get the server up and running.
