Not having an AZERTY keyboard handy, I can only speculate I'm afraid.
On the one hand, the ":" in an ASCII chart http://www.asciitable.com/ is listed as DEC 58 but in an AZERTY QWERTY chart
the QWERTY ":" is mapped to shift M. You might try that.
There are some options for changing language input and keyboard in Windows. I have seen a few Microsoft articles about that. This might be another approach.
If you are able to determine a work-around please share.
