This is done from the host configuration. From the vSphere Client:
- Choose Host and Clusters inventory
- Click on the host with the IP you wish to change
- Go to Configuration tab
- Select Networking in the left menu
- Select vSphere Distributed Switch
- Click on "Manage virtual adapters" for above the VDS you wish to modify
